Time change - March 31

We turned the clock back last night. When we woke up it was dark, but the reason was not the time change but the rain. This is our first real rain. It rained steadily all morning and part of the afternoon.  We took advantage of the lull to put the suitcases on the beds in the spare room and start packing some of the stuff that we will not be using again before leaving.

After lunch we went for a walk around town. Jacques needed to look for answers to a few questions for an earth cache, so it gave us something to do. 

We had gone by a bar a few times that was always busy sometimes even with a lineup waiting. They announced draft at .60 and tapas at 1 euro. We decided to go in and see. What an amazing place. The draft is just a very small glass but for .60 that's ok. What was different were the waiters walking around with trays full of different tapas. They were all on wooden planks of 2x4 about 6 inches long. You choose one or more and they put a little line on your tab for each one you take. I imagine it could end up adding up fast if you were not careful. We had already had lunch, so we only tried a couple for the experience. There are so many to choose from, fried anchovies, calamari, sausages, stuffed jalapenos, onion rings, squid, pizza squares, croquettes, smoked salmon and cheese and a whole bunch of others that I have no clue what they were. We will try to go again for lunch before we leave. It was fun and obviously very popular with the locals. Everywhere else was empty today and there the place was full of people.
