Today, we leave for our next adventure. This time, we will be visiting the south-west portion of France with three weeks in Bordeaux, a four day visit in Cussac with friends from Paris and finally ten days in Toulouse before returning home.
Yesterday, there was an Alberta Clipper on it's way into the region with snow predicted. The heavier snow was forecast for Nova Scotia, but we did not want to take any chances so we changed our reservation from 16:40 to 11:35 to give the maximum of time in case of delays.
We are travelling to Bordeaux via Lyon instead of our previous trips where we travelled through Munich or Frankfurt. We are glad because the Munich airport was closed due to a strike so a lot of travelers had to scramble to change their travel plans.
Glad you made it there. Almost always a question mark when travelling in the winter, Enjoy the wine and the French food.
