Final hike - March 30

We finally made it to la Isleta to finish our tour of the "torres". We did not find all 20 caches but quite a few. They were good hides and every single one different, one was inside a snail’s shell, one inside a branch in a hole, one a cactus, one a plastic spider in a tree, a small cactus under a bigger cactus and many more. Every tower was also different. It was a fun series even if we didn't find them all.

The rest of our time here will be spent just wandering around the neighborhood. They are announcing the first heavy rain since we have been here. Apparently, the soil is so dry that none of the water is absorbed when it rains hard, it just runs off. It will be interesting to see.

One of the 19 towers in the area.

Are you in there geocache?

Part of our walk today.

Old foundation.

Interesting gate.

This one is a restaurant.
Entrance to restaurant.

Don't know what kind of trees these are.

People have their homes in many of these towers (or the homes are attached to them).
