Day off - March 8

Apart from doing a couple loads of laundry and going to the market to pick up something for supper we didn't do much.

We did find a sim card for our old phone since my pkg is about to run out of data and is only good for a few more days. With this card no texts and no international calls only national. That's all we need since we have e mail, Skype and messenger calls for free through Facebook when at home.  I should still be able to receive calls in an emergency for a fee on my phone, I think.

Jacques figured out the answer to the puzzle cache so did go up again in the quaint little streets that are all stairs. It is so nice up there that I don't mind all those stairs too much. It does get the heart pumping to get my active minutes on the Fitbit.

We finished the day by wandering down to the marina and back after supper. We sat for a while to watch all the small boats with rowers coming around the corner. Some were pretty fast, but others needed to synchronize their paddling.

Supper was take-out paella. You tell them what time and for how many people and he prepares it for you. You put a deposit of 5 euros for the pan and when you bring it back, he gives you your 5 euros back. There are about 10 different paella to choose from. He is open only Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday and is only 1 block from the apartment.
