Yesterday when we woke up, the sun was shining again so instead of
relaxing like we had said we'd do we hoped on a bus and headed north of the
city. Jacques had found a geocaching series that he wanted to do.
This trail was easy, mostly flat compared to all the hills we have
been climbing lately. Unfortunately, being flat, it was also not as picturesque
as the hilly ones, but in did take us in groves (not sure if this is the
correct word) of almond trees. We saw some almonds left over from last year and
some un-ripened ones. This was the first time we had seen this.
We also met some geocachers from England who arrived at the same
cache as us. We had noticed that on the trail they had signed the logs just
before us. We talked for a while and then walked together to the next cache.
They are staying in a campground and only live 2 months (August and September)
a year in their house.
We walked over 17 km today for 18 caches.
Today was more relaxing, a walk on the beach in the morning, the
grocery store and supper out.
