Yesterday we returned our rental car after doing another small
grocery and picking up a cache.
We had lunch again at Pingo Doce. Jacques had the dorado; some
sort of white fish and I had a salmon steak. Both were cooked on the grill and
served with potatoes, brussels sprouts and carrots. I thought mine had more
taste than his.
We returned to our apartment and stayed for the rest of the day
because the region was under an orange alert due to high winds and heavy rain
with risk of flooding in some areas. We talked to Sylvie and Bianca as well as
Lucille on Skype and with Nathalie via WhatsApp.
This morning, the sun was out, so we went for a hike along the
beach climbing up a small trail. Some of the spots had really nice views. Every
time you go up a hill or turn a corner the scenery changes quite a bit. We even
found a small cave in the rocks that had an opening at the other end.
