This morning when we looked outside, there was an incredibly beautiful, complete
rainbow.

Since this was our last full day with the car, we decided to just
drive around the small villages. We started by driving to the top of the cliffs
around the marina. The houses there are really nice with a great view of the
water on one side and the marina/town on the other side. I guess we know where
the rich people of Albuferia live. We met some people from Strasbourg who own a
home here. They told us that the weather we have been experiencing is not
normal. Before this they had 10 months
of drought.
We stopped at the farmer's market and bought some strawberries and
some little potatoes. There was quite a bit more produce to sell than on
Sunday.
We drove along a few little villages and then decided to go to
Praia da Falésia. We walked on top of the cliffs one way and came back on the
beach below the cliffs. This was much easier than on top with a lot less up and
down. We even managed to find 4 caches on that walk.

Since we won't have a car again for at least awhile, we filled up
on the heavy stuff, water, 3 bags of oranges and wine since the bottles have a
tendency to leak. We bought the oranges on the roadside. 3 big bags for 5
euros. The lady seemed so happy to sell
3 bags that she gave us 2 lemons and a different kind of orange. We decided to
buy a bag of lemons from her to make lemonade. She asked for 1 euro. We pay
that for 1 lemon home let alone a full bag.
Home early, we sat on the patio (with our jackets on) for a while.
Since we had a late lunch in a restaurant, supper tonight is cheese, olives,
pâté, bread and saucisson.

| Beautiful sunset to end the day |
Tomorrow we will probably just hang around and do a bit of
cleaning after we return the car at noon.
