March 11 - Sunday

Not much to report today. We started by walking to the farmers market which is closed on Mondays. There wasn't much to see on a Sunday either. We will try again on another day of the week.

We also went to buy a SIM card for one of our old phones because my pkg. finishes at the end of the month and we will need a phone to contact the people to whom we will be giving back the key to. We will also need a phone to call a taxi to the train station, so we can go to Porto. This phone cannot do international calls so after the end of the month if there is an emergency you will need to contact Nathalie who can contact us through whatsapp.

When we walked into the empty store to talk to the employee. She told us that we needed to take a number first. We took a number and then she immediately said next. It was almost like you see on a lame television comedy.

Tourist season is starting, the prices have gone up. One of the bars that seemed to be popular with the Canadians have jacked up their price from 1.75 to 2.50 for a beer. Still not a bad price compared to the rest of Europe, I guess.

The sun was shining all day until supper time but was it ever windy. There were people surfing but it looked cold.
