March 19, 2026 - Return home

We got up at 4:15 in order to walk to the bus stop for our shuttle to the airport. Once we arrived at the airport, we wondered back and forth looking for the Air Canada counter. At one point we saw the desk numbers on the information panel so off we went in that direction. Once there, the desks were empty but about 5 minutes, the Air Canada arrived and started setting up their stations. 


Toulouse is the headquarters for AirBus that includes the Airbus Beluga cargo plane.


Last look at Toulouse. Our apartment was about 700 meters above the middle bridge.

After completing our check-in and going through security, we went to the airport lounge for breakfast before going to our gate. The flights home went without any problems except for about a 40 minute delay leaving Montréal due to the de-icing of the plane.

We had a great trip, but it is always nice the return home. We ended up walking 431 kms so not too bad for a couple of 72 year olds.

    Enjoyed "joining you" on your holiday. I'd never even heard of Albi; now I want to go there!
