Today was Joline’s last day with us. We spent the day caching and leisurely walking around the city. We found 9 caches walking through some of the same areas we had passed through on the tour but with more time to stop and admire the view. We walked through a part of Maria Louisa park which we hadn’t seen before. There was a marathon going on today. Joline and I almost had a crash with one of the runners. I hope that it did not affect his race.
One of the places that had a cache was the small square where the head of Susona (the Jewish girl who had betrayed her family) was. The cache was just underneath the tile with the skull representing where her head was hung. On the way we stopped to try the churros and hot chocolate. We shared one portion between the 3 of us since we basically only wanted to try them to see how they tasted. It was ok but we were all glad that we had only bought one serving for the 3 of us.
We stopped at the bus station to see if Joline could buy her ticket ahead, but they said no only on the bus. I also asked if we could buy a monthly pass but we were told we had to go to the office 3 km away. We will go check that out within the next few days.
We finished the day sharing some tapas with Joline for her last meal in Spain before returning to the apartment for her to finish packing and to rest a bit before leaving for the bus depot.
After Joline left on the bus we took a different route home and found 4 more caches. We came home in time for Nathalie’s call on messenger. For a quiet day we still logged 14.6 km.

I had an amazing few days with you while exploring Seville.
