October 18 - Travel Day - Day 6

A day of nothing except the flight and driving by bus. When the flight landed, we drove about 1 hour before lunch and then almost 4 hours with a pit stop half way. We could buy beer and snacks here if we wanted to take on board. The price was about double what it was at the super market in Beijing and Xian, but it was the last stop where you could shop before getting on the ship.

We went for supper before going to the ship. Some people left the restaurant early and went next door to buy beer. It was about a third of the price from our pit stop. We arrived at the ship around 8 feeling very tired and had to wait until 9:15 to attend the briefing which was not that great. Basically, it was an introduction of the staff, nothing about safety features.
