Ocober 17 - Terracotta Warriers - Day 5

We were up early again to visit Xian where in the morning we visited the temple of thanksgiving or as it is also called the big wild goose pagoda. We didn't go inside because there are Buddhist monks that live there. Basically, it was a picture taking stop.

After that another shopping stop at the jade center. There were some really nice pieces with really nice prices to go along. If we had known though, we would have waited to buy our chop sticks here because they were selling unboxed pgk. of 5 sets for about $12

We finally arrived at the terracotta site at 2 in the afternoon. This was really good, and we could visit at our pace for the first time. We were given 2 hour's and 15 minutes. We decided to go for the cache that was nearby before starting our visit of the site.

Since we left Beijing the food has been better, but it is mostly the same every day. For dessert we have never had anything besides watermelon.

Telephone Repairman's worst nightmare

By the time we arrived at the hotel it was close to 9. Our suitcases had to be outside our door by 10:30 and wake up call is at 5:30.
