Another big day. I overslept this morning and only woke up at 8:45
so we were late leaving the condo. So far, I can’t say that we’ve had good
coffee. We'll have to try the espresso. We headed off to find the cathedral of
Valencia. When we realised that we could go to mass there on Sunday and save 10
euros we decided to climb ‘’Torres de Micalet’’ instead. 207 steps (15 flights according
to my fitbit) later, we had an awesome view of all of Valencia. We also had our
first conversation with someone who spoke English at the top. A couple from
England with their 18-month-old daughter.

We preceded to walk a bit of the Turia river bed park. Found 3
caches and then went for lunch at the same time the Spaniards do, at 2:30. It
was an amazing meal that included 5 different tapas each, some were shared and
others we chose what we wanted, a paella for two and each a different dessert.
All that with 2 glasses of wine and 2 beers came to 43 euros taxes in. It was
so good that we will be going back once a week. We ate so much that we decided
to skip supper.

We continued to cache but with everything written in Spanish we
didn’t do great. Jacques asked me for help a few times, but we were working on
a puzzle with many steps. We’ll go back in a few days and try to figure out the
rest. Around 6 we decided to start heading home since by then we were still
quite a way from our apartment and we had to stop for wine on the way
home.
