Today it was cloudy and a bit foggy so not a good day for picture
taking but that's ok since we went back to some of the places we had visited
the first day on our tour so that we could explore more leisurely. We revisited the old town square with the
astrological clock, St Nicholas church and Jacques wanted to look at the big
hams on spits cooking on wood fires.
We then went back over the Charles bridge taking our time to look
at all the statues on the way.
We returned home following the river on a more quiet bridge which
ended up not far from the dancing house (nicknamed Fred and Ginger) that was on
my to do list.
We found where tonight's geocaching event that we were co hosting was
going to be. What a caching event that turned out to be. We arrived about 15 minutes early and the
room was already full (It was a small room). Not many spoke English so there
were a few gestures and a few quiet moments but as soon as we took out the trackables
that we had brought with us, all the cellphone cameras came out. Everybody was
around the table taking pictures. They gave us some to take back to Canada. It
was the weirdest event we ever went to and we were the hosts.
Since we'd had a big lunch we decided to go for a soup for supper.
Well that came with our own pot which as about 3 bowls each. Needless to say,
we over ate again.
Tomorrow is our last full day. As much fun as it has been, I'll be
happy to see my bed and house again.
