We have arrived in Bartlesville. Jacques' tante
Camilla is currently at a rehab center following knee surgery. She received a 4-hour
pass to come home for supper. We picked her up and had a wonderful evening with
her, Uncle Bob and Jacques' cousin Claire.

Tomorrow, we will be spending the day with uncle Bob,
first going to church, then a visit to the Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife park.
The parc was founded in 1937 by Frank Phillips (founder of Phillips Petroleum) and
his wife Jane. It is a preserve for many wildlife, including a large herd of
bison. Inside the preserve, you are inside the fences so the animals roam free and you must stay in your car. Rollande had not seen the signs so first thing she did was to get out of the car to take a picture. After we told her about the signs, she stayed put.
The museum has a collection of western art and artifacts, native American material and one of the largest Colt firearms collections in the
world.

We finished the afternoon with supper at a well-known
BBQ place. The beef brisket was so good.
We will visit tante Camilla again in the evening
before hitting the road tomorrow.
Uncle Bob is a "young" 92 who still drives
and is full of spunk. One of the first questions he asked Jacques when we
arrived is to explain what geocaching was all about. We explained what it was
but we decided that the best way was to show him, so we went out a found a
couple with him after mass on Sunday. We figured that we would go find a cache
while he waited in the car and we would bring the container for him to see, but
no, he wanted to get out of the car and look as well. After we had found a couple,
he asked "are there any more around?" We think that he would had
continued all day if we did not have other plans for the day.

Well known American Architect Frank Lloyd Wright
designed the Price Tower and his foundation designed the Bartlesville Community
Center.
