Today we started by visiting Santa Croce Basilica. Many famous people are buried here include Michelangelo and Galileo Galilei. Before going to the Basilica, we decided to tour a leather goods store and training center behind the Basilica. Once we were finished visiting here, it turns out the exit door led directly into the Basilica.
After our visit of Santa Croce, we visited the Uffizi Gallery were we saw great number of great sculptures as well a super vantage point to take a picture of Ponte Vecchio.
To finish off our day, we crossed Ponte Vecchio on our way to see Petti Palace but we did not have time to go inside to visit. For supper tonight, we went to the same restaurant as last night and again had the primi and secondi courses. After supper, we decided that two courses was just too much and we would limit ourselves to just one course for the rest of the trip.
