Cleaned the apartment and put what I could in the suitcases
and then went for a walk while Jacques played a bit on the computer. I wanted
to make sure that I reached 625 km of walking before leaving.
For lunch since we had no food left in the fridge, we
decided to go to Rias Baixas. A restaurant that the owners had told us about
that serves traditional food. It's just a hole in the wall with 6 tables and
stools at the bar. They offered a meal for 2 people with a bottle of wine for
35 euros. It's a bit more than we've paid so far but since it was our last day,
we decided to go for it. We weren't disappointed. The food was very good and lots of it.
We are never sure how we are supposed to eat what they serve
because everything is always in one plate to share and often no other plate to
put it in. Here at least we each received a small plate. We watched and noticed
that instead of dividing it in 2 like we normally do they just pick at the
plate in the middle, one piece at a time.
The wine was served in small bowls and the next table which
had water was served their water in a wine glass.
We are back home on schedules. No problems with our flights nor our luggage.
