After checking in and freshening up 4 of the 6 couples met in the hotel lobby for a bit of sightseeing. We stopped in a pub for a beer and music. We all shared a plate of fries since no one had eaten since breakfast. We stopped to take pictures of the Temple Bar and then found out we were not at the right one. It seems the temple bar is an area in Dublin where the original temple bar was established in 1840. We finally found the original bar after seeing at least half a dozen temple bars. The place was packed full of people so after a quick look inside we continued on a search for a good pub for supper. Jacques and I shared a fish and chips as did a couple of others while another couple shared a cottage pie which is a bit like a Shepard pie but more spicy. Another couple had bangers and mash. We each decided to have another beer with our supper. Jacques likes IPA style beer and decided to try one that caught his eye on the menu. It was called a Cute Hoor IPA.
After supper we were going to continue on but it was pouring rain so we decided to call it a day and each went to their respective rooms for an early night.
