October 13, 2012 - Glasgow Final day

Today is our final day before heading home. We had a great trip, Jacques ate haggis 3-4 times as well as blood pudding. Rollande passed on the blood pudding and tasted the haggis but did not care for it.

We also had fish and chips which is a huge serving and really good. Jacques had it 3 times so for our final meal in Glasgow, Jacques decided to try it one last time. We found an interesting looking restaurant full of people which is usually a good sign, so we went in and waited for a table. There were 2 ladies sitting at a table and they invited us to join them. Throughout our trip, the Scottish accent has not been a problem but in Glasgow it is stronger then what we had experienced so far. One of the ladies at our table was quite a bit older than the other one and we had a really hard time understanding her. The other lady ended up being our interpreter. Eventually, we received our order of fish and chips. What a major disappointment. The fish and chips turned out to be regular fish sticks like the ones we can buy back home at any grocery store.
